Leadership

Rodney Langley, President/Managing Partner: Mr. Langley has 32+ years of telecommunications experience having worked with GTE (now Verizon) for nearly 28 years, CenturyTel, and BTI/Deltacom in a number of leadership roles. He brings a strong background in the areas of network optimization, cost management, vendor management, regulatory, and customer service with telecommunications companies that provide local, long distance, data, and wireless.

At GTE Mr. Langley gained extensive experience in the network design and operation, customer services, product management, and regulatory areas. He led GTE’s national team for the implementation of competitive services. He was a senior manager of Costing and Pricing responsible for the development of costs and prices for retail, competitive, access, and collcation services for a $485 million revenue stream.

As General Manager/Director at CenturyTel, Mr. Langley led their Long Distance operations. Under his leadership, CenturyTel Long Distance increased the customer base (500,000 customers) and revenues ($145 million) by 68%.

Mr. Langley was Senior Director-Finance with BTI and Deltacom where he managed vendor services and cost management for more than 50 companies and $110 million of telecommunications expenses. He was also responsible for the identification, negotiation, and recovery of costs for several multi-million dollar projects.

Mr. Langley received his B.S. degree in Business Administration from Valdosta State University.
